We are seeking an Interior Design Assistant for a Home Decor/Wholesale Furniture company in Foothill Ranch, CA!
Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri from 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Description:
We are seeking a collaborative and creative individual to focus on interior design and showroom assistance. In this entry-level role, you will work under the guidance of our Brand Manager and VP of Design. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a well-established home decor/furniture brand.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Brand Manager and VP of Design with general design and marketing tasks, brand outreach, special consumer & showroom sales projects
- Create PowerPoint presentations to convey design concepts while ensuring brand consistency
- Assist with purchase orders with our vendors (art, rugs, accessories)
- Quickbooks entries for quarterly sales tax payments
Qualifications:
- Interior Design degree or internship (preferred)
- Knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Teams)
- Ability to handle a variety of multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environment
- Eagerness to learn, take direction and grown within a creative team
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD a plus
- Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
- Experience in home furnishings, furniture showrooms and/or interior design a plus
- Must be able to travel at least twice a year to assist with tradeshow setup in North Carolina (April & October)
- Ability to produce social media content a plus
- Ability to prepare short product videos for website or social media
- Knowledge in AI and how to use AI to streamline and create efficiencies a plus
